Mopar Parts & Accessories Warranty

MOPAR® Basic Limited Warranty

Except as noted below, genuine Mopar® and Magneti Marelli parts installed by an authorized Mopar dealer (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, FIAT® and Alfa Romeo) are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 24 months/unlimited miles (parts & labor).

Wholesale-sold parts installed by a professional technician carry the same 24-month/unlimited-mile parts coverage plus up to $150 in labor. Over-the-counter DIY parts are covered for 24 months/unlimited miles on a parts-exchange basis only.

If a part is replaced on a vehicle still under the New Vehicle Basic Limited Warranty, coverage extends for the remainder of that 3-year/36,000-mile term or for 24 months from installation—whichever benefits you most.

This warranty includes towing to the nearest authorized Mopar dealer if a covered part renders your vehicle inoperative, and it covers any collateral damage caused by a warranted part failure. These express warranties are your sole remedy and cannot be altered by any third party.

Replacement Battery Limited Warranty

Defective Mopar® or Magneti Marelli batteries are replaced at no charge during the free-replacement period from purchase. If covered by your New Vehicle Basic Limited Warranty, batteries benefit from that remaining term or the free-replacement period—whichever is longer.

Prorated allowances apply outside those terms. Check your battery date code for details. Non-transferable; original receipt required.

Collision Parts Lifetime Limited Warranty

Original-purchaser coverage on Mopar sheet-metal, bumper covers, and grilles for the life of vehicle ownership, including interior corrosion (perforation). Covers parts, labor, and paint when dealer-installed and preapproved. Vehicles older than eight model years may receive comparable salvage replacements.

Exclusions: Corrosion from fire, accident, abuse, environmental factors, or Acts of God.

Mopar Windshield (Corning Gorilla Glass) Warranty

Two-year/unlimited-mile coverage for road-debris damage between 1"–3". Includes one free repair or replacement (labor & parts). Excludes other damage types. Dealer proof of purchase required; one claim per install.

Replacement Catalytic Converter Warranty

Three-year/25,000-mile coverage on converter materials & workmanship. Shell & end-bushing coverage extends to five years/50,000 miles.

Gaskets & Seals Limited Warranty

12-month/unlimited-mile parts & labor coverage when dealer-installed. 12-month/unlimited-mile parts-exchange only for DIY installs. (Labor & taxes not covered; receipt required.)

Powertrain & Remanufactured Powertrain Warranty

Three-year/100,000-mile coverage on engines, transmissions, transfer cases, and cylinder heads. Reimbursement at Mopar Warranty Time rates. Registration required at point of sale.

HEMI® Crate Engine Kit Warranty

Three-year/100,000-mile parts-exchange only when purchased with an installation kit; otherwise 90 days parts-exchange only.

Diesel Parts Warranties

One-year/unlimited-mile coverage on remanufactured starters, alternators, and water pumps for as long as you own the vehicle. See package label for details.

Performance Parts Warranties

“770…” Series: 24 months/unlimited miles (parts & labor) dealer-installed; parts-exchange only for DIY.
“PW…” Series: 12 months/12,000 miles (parts & labor) dealer-installed; parts-exchange for DIY.
“P51…” Series: Sold “As-Is” without warranty, except 90-day parts-exchange on Gen II crate engine assemblies.

Implied warranties and incidental/consequential damages are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

How to Obtain Warranty Service

Present your vehicle and original sales receipt to any authorized Mopar dealer. Covered parts & labor will be repaired or replaced at no charge.

What Is Not Covered

• Non-Mopar parts, misuse, abuse, accident, improper maintenance, racing, or environmental damage.
• Removal or alteration of emissions or safety devices (except CARB/EPA-compliant parts in exempt states).

Michigan law governs interpretation. These warranties give you specific legal rights; additional rights may vary by state.
